I’m Sander Tolner, a film composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Oslo, Norway. I write emotionally driven music for film, combining orchestra, electronics and organic sound design to support character, atmosphere and story.

I studied Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, with a minor in Video Game Scoring. That background shaped an approach that moves naturally between intimate and expansive, acoustic and electronic, always with a clear dramatic purpose.

My musical roots range from heavy metal and folk music to classical music and contemporary film scores. I’m especially drawn to projects with a strong sense of identity, where the music can become an essential part of the world and the emotional journey.

I care deeply about collaboration and about finding a musical language that belongs specifically to each story. Outside the studio, I find inspiration in games, hiking and creative hobbies like Warhammer, painting and tinkering with whatever I can find.
